Cedars-Sinai, one of the top nonprofit academic healthcare establishments in the United States, serves the Los Angeles community in California through various research and educational programs. The hospital relies on the generous contributions of people to fund these programs. Cedars-Sinai has set up three ways for people to give:
-Make a direct cash donation. Through the hospital’s giving page, you can contribute any amount you are comfortable with and even designate the area you would like your donation to go to. Examples are children’s health, liver transplant, kidney research, and cancer.
-Start your own fundraiser. You can start a fundraiser by creating an account with the hospital’s support page, selecting the cause you want to champion, building a customized fundraising page, and sharing your story online to raise funds.
-Join Circle of Friends. A special way to give in honor of the medical professional or hospital staff who has touched you or your loved one’s life. Through this channel, you can say thank you to that person with a donation to the hospital. The hospital will inform the medic or staff member of your contribution with a special letter of gratitude and a custom Circle of Friends pin.
